Why the right power supply makes a difference

Tattoo machines create a large inductive load which means the power supply has to have the balls to handle high current demands and large voltage spikes.

In addition, the brick utilizes a temperature-controlled fan to maintain a constant internal case temperature to improve stability and reliability -- critical for smooth, precise power.
